Bridge Course:
Grade 9 referees who would like to become grade 8 referees may register
for any bridge class. To register for a bridge class, please send the
following information in an Email to michddiwest@yahoo.com:
1. Full Name and brith date
2. Class location choice
3. Year that you obtained your grade 9 certification
4. USSF ID number
Lansing Course Expectations:
Cost - $50 payable to the MI Referee Committee on the first day of class
(cash is acceptable).
Class size (40) is limited and approved on a first come/first serve basis.
Class waiting lists are not maintained.
Attendance is mandatory at both classes in a session. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Students are expected to bring pen and paper and actively participate
in the classes.
Students must achieve a score of 75% or higher on a 100 question test
on the last day to become a grade 8 referee.
Entry Level Course:
This
clinic is for new officials and is especially suitable for younger individuals
wishing to start officiating in USSF. Level 9 officials may do USSF
games up through the U12 age group. Please note that you must now
be 14 years old to take the Level 8 class. However, if you are a
Level 9 official you can then take the Level 8 class a year later, regardless
of your age.
Prospective
participants must register on line prior to the course. The site is for
registration can be found on the Michigan Referee Committee site:
1. Point your web browser to:

2. Click on the 4th button on the left (Entry Level Classes)
3. Click on the third button on left (Entry level)
4. Scroll down to Lansing area, click on the button under the class that
you want to register. Information for registration, and payment is now
available on line
